challenges of accessing safe drinking water in rural areas of the DRC, we are implementing initiatives aimed at ensuring a sustainable supply of high-quality water for rural communities. Through the maintenance and expansion of a network of boreholes built by PHC that serve more than 150,000 people, as well as the installation of water purification systems, the PHC Foundation will help improve the living conditions of a greater number of people.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/li><li class=\"feature-list-item elementor-repeater-item-f5be790\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"feature-list-icon-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"feature-list-icon-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"feature-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"jki jki-target-light\"><\/i>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"feature-list-content-box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"feature-list-title\">Combating Malaria and Improving Public Health in Rural Areas<\/h3><p class=\"feature-list-content\">In rural areas, malaria is a daily threat that reduces life expectancy, hinders human capital development, and impairs the performance of students and workers. The absence or inadequacy of malaria control measures in rural areas puts residents at a disadvantage and traps them in endemic poverty. Meals help reduce absenteeism and improve school retention rates. The PHC Foundation plans to establish a school cafeteria system based on locally produced foods enriched with soy protein.
